Payment Options

I accept PayPal, money orders, checks, and concealed cash. PayPal is preferred! Please allow 7-10 business days for the checks to clear. As soon as the money orders or checks clear I will ship out your item(s). Please note! There will be a $25.00 check charge on any returned checks.

When using PayPal I have had some people ask what will show up on their statement. For your discretion I have my PayPal name (not ID) set up as SAL'S PLACE. (SAL stands for Slips And Lace). So on your statement you will see PAYPAL*SALS PLACE. 

You will see these all of these options when you go to check out. Remember, click on the "Add to Cart" icon (shown on right) to add an item to your shopping cart. You can view your shopping cart by clicking the "View Cart" button at the top right of every page near the top of the pages with items on them. You can also Click Here to view your shopping cart.

Shipping and Handling

Due to the post office constantly raising their rates we have had to raise ours as well. Below are our current shipping costs. They are subject to change at any time. Since the rates at the post office have gone up drastically I am no longer offering a flat rate fee for orders. The amount charged will be based upon the number of items you have purchased. Please see the pricing guide below for details.

The rates below are calculated for slips and other similar light items that can be shipped in an envelope. I can ship your order in a box, however higher box rates will apply.

USA Priority - $6.00 for up to 5 items. $10.00 for 6 items or more.

USA First Class - $4.00 for 1 item. $6.00 for 2-5 items. $10.00 for 6 items or more.

USA Priority with Insurance - $9.00 for 1-5 items. $14.00 for 6 items or more.

International Airmail - $6.00 for 1 item. $10.00 for 2-3 items. $18.00 for 4-6 items. $25.00 for 7-10 items. $30.00 for 11 items or more.

International Global Priority - $28.00 for 1-5 items. $35.00 for 6 items or more.

If you would like your order shipped by another means, like in a box or overnight, please let me know and I will calculate up your new shipping price.

Shipping costs do not include insurance. If you would like insurance on your order please add $3.00 (this is for up to $200) to your total if you are within the US. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are uninsured. (US only!) International orders, if you would like insurance added to your order, please let me know so I can also figure the new price for you to include insurance.

For your discretion the package will be plainly labeled. It will be sent in either a USPS Priority package or a plain white or tan envelope. It will have my mailing address and name on it. I will not have listed that it is from Slips and Lace or contains a slip in the packaging. International orders I fill out the green slip stating that it is "clothing" and as a gift. This way you should have no problems with customs. If you have another preference, please let me know.

I ship generally within 24-72 hours of your payment being received and clearing (for checks) with the exception of weekends, holidays, or bad weather conditions. Please remember to allow 2-6 weeks for "Design Your Own" custom orders to be created before they are shipped.

Return Policy

If you receive any item from our shop that you are not satisfied with, please email me and let me know. I will be glad to work with you any way I can. I want happy shoppers. I'm sorry, refunds or exchanges are not available on "Design Your Own" custom orders. We are happy to try to make any alterations, if it is possible, on DYO customs. However, we are not responsible for any sizing mistakes due to being given the wrong measurements when an order is placed.

If a refund is requested please ship the item in question back to me in the same condition it was shipped to you. As soon as it is received I will send back your money to you. Sorry, shipping and handling costs are non refundable. Also if you pay via PayPal I receive a fee for payments received. Refunds will also have the PayPal fee charge deducted. These charges vary but are typically around $1.00. All return requests must be made within 30 days from when an item was shipped from Slips and Lace for US customers. Requests from International customers must be made within 40 days from when the item was shipped from Slips and Lace. Items MUST be in the condition that they were shipped to you. If there are any stains or other flaws, the item will be sent back to you and a refund/exchange will not be granted.

Alteration/Exchange Shipping:
Items will be shipped back through the cheapest shipping. Generally this is in a small envelope sent via First Class. If you desire faster shipping, insurance, or the items to be boxed, you must pay the cost for that shipping. Please inform me and I will let you know the cost of the shipping.

For items lost in the mail or stolen... I am not responsible for these if insurance was not purchased.

Terms of Service

Payments must be made within 2 weeks of the order being placed. Pre-made items will be listed as "sale pending" while awaiting payment. If a payment has not been received by 2 weeks of when the order is placed then the items will be re-listed as for sale.

We will order the fabric and start work on custom "Design Your Own" lingerie only after a payment for the order has arrived and cleared. Items will not be made until a payment has been received.

Items will not be shipped until the payment has cleared. Checks take 10 business days to clear before an item is shipped.
