- Do you accept credit cards?
- No, I do not have a way to accept credit cards with the exception of PayPal.
- What kind of payments do you accept?
- I accept PayPal (credit card or instant checking account), money order, checks, and concealed cash. Please remember with check to allow 7-10 business days for it to clear before your order will be shipped. E-Checks from PayPal take about 7 business days to clear.

- Do you ship discreetly?
- Yes. All USA orders are shipped through Priority mail in Priority envelopes or boxes. International orders are shipped Air Mail in plain white envelopes or plain boxes. The only information I give is my name, shipping address, and your shipping information. No where on there will you see my store name or anything to deal with slips or lingerie. The green slip that goes on International orders has it marked as "gift" and states that it is clothing.
Items and Listings
- How is a full slip's length measured?
- Full slips are all measured from the start of the underarm (armpit) seam down to the bottom of the lace. The lace is included in the measuring of the slip to reach it's total length.
- How is a half slip's length measured?
- Half slips are all measured from the top of the waist (top of the elastic) down to the bottom of the lace. The lace is included in the measuring of the slip to reach it's total length.
- Are the items for sale worn before sending?
- No, they are all laundered before shipping. If you wish for them to be worn first then please see me personally.
Custom Design Lingerie
- What type of material do you use to make the custom made slips?
- The material we most often use is 40 denier nylon tricot in a wide variety of colors. We also offer sheer 15 denier nylon in only 7 different colors. Colors are subject to change and availability of what we can get in from our suppliers. We do not have them listed but we can make slips also out of satin and satin charmeuse.
- What colors do you offer for custom design slips?
- At any given time we can get between 20-50 different colors of nylon from our various suppliers. Howver, due to the fact our suppliers colors keep changing we are no longer listing the colors. All fabric colors are subject to change and availability of what we can get in from our suppliers. Please feel free to let us know if there is any specific color you are seeking and we will do our best to find it or something similar.
- Are custom Design Your Own slips and lingerie new or previously worn?
- When you place a Design Your Own Lingerie order all items are brand new. We order the material and other supplies and your slip is made from scratch as a one of a kind made just for you. You or the person the item(s) have been purchased for will be the very first person to wear it. So be assured that Slips and Lace Exclusive Lingerie has NOT been previously worn.
- Store retail slips etc. carry a small name tag of the manufacturer. For S & L Custom designs, do you have such a tag manufactured/sewn on?
- Yes, we sure do. Slips and Lace custom designs have a small white tag that is sewn into the elastic waist band on the back of the slip. In red letters it says "Slips and Lace Exclusive".
- How long does it take for a Design Your Own Lingerie order to be made?
- It takes between 2-6 weeks for your custom order to be made. The Design Your Own orders are made by scratch. Janice makes them all by hand on her days off. She works a full time job, so she makes all orders in her spare time. We ask to allow 2-6 weeks in case we have to order in fabric from our suppliers and to give her time to create your one of a kind creation.
- Can you duplicate an item if I send you pictures or the item?
- NO! We do not duplicate items. To us duplicate means an exact replica. We can not do this for many reasons. If you would like something SIMILAR to be made then we will look at the item and decide from there if it is something that we will do or not. Keep in mind, ALL of our items are made WITHOUT A PATTERN and this means it takes a lot of skill and work from Janice to make these items. Often times we will add a "pattern fee" on to orders that take up and beyond the normal amount of work to alter or to create. This fee will vary based upon how difficulty of the order.

- How can I find out about sales before they happen?
- Easy, sign up to my monthly Newsletter. At the beginning of every month I send out 1 email to let you know the sales that are coming up as well as any other things that are changing or have been added.
- How can I tell what size of a slip I should buy?
- Here are 3 different sites with size charts to help you find your slip size. These sites also will help with International sizes. Herroom is good for bra, panty, and slip sizes as well as international sizes. Shadowline has a wide variety of sizes based on your measurements such as bras, panties (with numbers sizes as well as small/med/large/etc), slips, and Comparable/Dress Sizes. Natural Profiles is a breast/bra calculator to help you get the size bra needed. The basic measurements that you use to judge you slip size is your chest measurement for a full slip and waist measurement for a half slip. Example: If you wear a size 36C bra then you would go for a size 36 full slip.
- Do you have a catalogue for Slips and Lace?
- No, not at this time. Since Slips and Lace is web based only I have my items listed already to full descriptions and photos on the site. My store is my catalogue and is always changing with new items. I am looking at possibly creating a print out sheet that can be mailed that gives information about our custom items. But as far as a catalogue with photos of our items, no that is not something that we will be offering. You can see photos of our items here on our site.
- Can you add perfume to the lingerie?
- Yes, I sure can. I add a hint of perfume already. But if you are looking to have perfume sprayed on the items themselves please make a special request for it. I will be happy to do it upon request.
