About Us at Slips and Lace Lingerie

Slips and Lace Lingerie was establishes in January 2003. Originally our store was to bring you vintage lingerie items. Janice, my mother and business partner, joined the site in the Summer of 2003. She began by altering slips by either repairing flaws, shortening the slip, or adding new lace. This quickly grew to creating one of a kind creations made by hand to be sold on the site. We were thrilled when people started placing requests for custom items. And so the custom order form was created in order to better help serve our customers. We are always improving on the site and new, unique custom lingerie pieces are being made all of the time. So we hope that you will continue to check back with us often as we add new items to our store. Thank you for visiting!

About Jen

Welcome to my About Me page. To give you a little background on myself, my name is Jen and I am a 29 year old female. I have done modeling of slips and lingerie since August or 2001. Modeling slips, seeing what people thought of me showing my slips, and being feminine is really what has made my love for lingerie and slips grow. I found myself adding many slips to my already large collection. To me there is nothing more fun than to go to a store, buy a lot of slips and other lingerie, come home and wear them. It's the best! Unfortunately, I started running out of space in my closet and drawers! So after one of my fans asked if I would be interested in starting to sell some of my slips I created a page on my personal site to sell them on. To my surprise it took off quite well. So that is when I started thinking about opening my own little slip and lingerie store. So in April 5, 2003 Slips and Lace Lingerie officially opened it's cyber doors.

If you are buying for yourself or a loved one I am more than happy to help you in any way I can. I have helped many men shop for themselves. Actually, I love to be able to help crossdressers/transgenders find the lingerie and outfits the are looking for to make them feel extra feminine. I started working with the transgender community in January 2002 with my photography business. I have a couple of my TG friends that I go out shopping with occasionally and help them find just the right outfits to make them look and feel their best. I know many men still don't want others to know they wear feminine clothes, so don't worry, it's just between you and I. I make sure all transactions and shipments are discreet so only you and I know what you are receiving. By all means, if you are looking for something and don't see it on my site let me know. I just may have it here and it is just not listed yet.

About Janice

Janice has been sewing for over 40 years. Needless to say, she has an amazing talent when it comes to anything she touches with a needle and thread, or a sewing machine as the case may be. Janice puts a lot of time, love, and creativity in every thing she makes whether it is something she has done before or it is a brand new creation. What I personally love is Janice does work with vintage patterns but also creates her very own patterns to make new pieces of lingerie that has never been seen before or change something she has to fit just right for the person she is making it for. Whatever the item is that you are ordering, you are sure to love the high quality and craftsmanship of the item.
